I'm not dead, really I'm not, but I been busy and just been distracted. Anyhow alive, doing okay I guess and related to my last entry SRT has taken off well to the point I don't think about VL anymore too much.

Claude Speed then, a gunshot.

And so life would god on. So ends this Chaper In Videoland, the story isn't over but we the player's part is over.

5:19 pm - End of the road.
|
Over 6 years, over 500 + logs between all my alts on Videoland. I remain doing one last scene to wrap up for Maya and some of my friend. Core has had his final epic flag run for the Fellowship's honor used Paused and battled God Mode Dan Hibiki along side Abobo. Rufus has departed the Imperative to make his fate his own and prehaps sate the planets anger to him. Jim remains as Does Maya in the proper their adventures far from over.
Still I hate to see the place go but in all my years of mushing No mush has gone out like this with such a roar. I wonder where doe dreams go when they die? Videoland was a very good dream a very good dream. To those people who made it wonderful thank you.
For some the dream is not over. Jim and Maya move to gate, Core and Rufus go to sleep prehaps forever. I do not know, Robot Wars come tommrow so the future looks bright but I'll always look back. VL was the first mush where I really fit and found a home for my self.
Now I kick back and wait for the end....

Within an hour the final scene for Videoland begings this honestly strange. A place I loved and spent a lot of time of is ending but unlike most mushes there will be an end. The stories of many shall be finished. Not many mushes get this, time to send it out with a bang!

A friend and co worker was in a very tight spot the shift he was hired for kind fell through to the loss of the store's truck so he's stuck on counter detail and not making enough money to get by. Bill collectors are closing in things looking like he's going to be on the street. Then yesterday? He ends up getting an call from a place he put in a resume and forgot about offering him a full time job at nearly double what he was making now. In short with in a week of losing everything give or take he just got his ass bailed out of the fire. Nice to see something like that happen given all the crap and Drama in Live Journal all the time.

No Drama here infact something finally went right after a month of issues that starte at work. Hopefully my finical outlook is a bit more secure now at this point and I delt with some long standing issues in my life as well so that fells good Also for ome updates later once I get some sleep madness on the westcoast. Mass warhammer 40k Geekers inculding getting to meet the guys who made Dawn of War and get to play em in normal 40k. There shall be picts but for now I crash harder than an Gundam In a china shop!

Phone service blew out today taking the net with it. I'll not be back likely untill Wensday sometime I hope. I'm at a friend's who is being kind enough to let me hi jack the net connection. To people on various mushes I had plans with I apologise about this mess. Anyway I gotta fade over and out for now. I'll try to get on tommrow when I post. Also can you post a vaction notice for me on the various mushes I'm on?

They start working, programming the girl they want to design, starting to argue about her size. Overclock defers to Gate's knowledge on female anatomy, and they run into a problem...
Gate: Your computer is a wimp.
Overclock: We need a lot more power.
Gate: What do you suggest?
They hook into Cyber Peacock's mainframe, which pisses off the bird to no end.
Gate: We're in.
Overclock: We're in trouble, Gate. This is highly illegal.
Gate: We got to fill this thing with data. We'll make her as real as possible. I want her to live, breathe. I want her to aerobicize.
One montage later, they're praying. Well, Gate is...
Gate: I lo mee li I lo la la mala kroo kara kara chal do le mo le lo...
Overclock: But, Gate... by the way, why are we wearing bras on our heads?
Gate: Ceremonial.
Everything starts to go haywire, stuff going crazy and exploding everywhere, the laws of physics bending in on themselves, until they yank the computer out of the wall and throw it off the side of the Raptor II. The smoke slowly clears, and the two of them look, fear-stricken, at the door to the lab.
Layer: So... what would you little maniacs like to do first?
